RFID Laundry Tag
RFID laundry tags are designed to be attached to clothing, linens, and other textiles. They use radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to enable tracking and management of the tagged items throughout the laundry process, including washing, drying, and ironing.
They are typically attached to garments or linens using sewing or heat-sealing techniques. Once attached, the tags can be read and updated using specialized RFID readers and software.
RFID laundry tags offer several benefits over traditional laundry tracking methods, such as barcode or manual counting. They can provide real-time visibility into inventory levels, enable more accurate tracking of individual items, and improve overall efficiency in laundry operations.
In addition to laundry applications, RFID tags are also used in a variety of other industries, including healthcare, retail, and logistics, to improve inventory management and tracking.
The RFID laundry tags can be dry cleaned or washed more than 500 times in hot, soapy water with expected life span of 5 years. Resistant to high temperatures, tags can be ironed at 200°F with a press cloth for up to 10 seconds, placed in a dryer for up to an hour at 185°F and/or sterilized in an autoclave.
RFID laundry tags allows the company to reduce the risk of shrinkage on their inventory and ensure that they get back the uniforms they issue out. RFID Laundry Tags are also great for hotel linen management to allow for item visibility on linens such as blankets and towels, enabling the hotel to ensure that these items are not being constantly stolen or lost. Any application requiring the tracking of linens or garments which will be exposed to various potentially damaging elements can benefit from the durability of RFID Laundry Tags.
